Mar. 24, 2009 (China Knowledge) – French Renault S.A., the world’s 4th largest automaker, will introduce its first crossover SUV model, the new Koleos, to the Chinese market right before the Auto Shanghai 2009, which is set to open in April, the Xinhua News reported on Monday.

As Renault’s first SUV model, the Koleos is a new multipurpose vehicle developed by the Renault-Nissan alliance. It has the four-wheel-drive (FWD) system and is equipped with a dCi 150 engine or a dCi 157 engine. The Koleos SUV was launched in the European market last August.

The price for Koleos SUV may be set above RMB 242,000, said the report.
